Rick Noyce

             BIOGRAPHY

Rick was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 25th, over fifty years ago, (Sorry, that's all he would tell us) to Samuel John & Elizabeth Margaret Noyce. He attended Public School 236 and Mary Queen Of Heaven elementary schools and upon graduation, enrolled at the Manhattan High School of Aviation Trades, later transferring to S.J. Tilden H.S. After that, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and upon his discharge, began his own Trucking firm called Hillzone Trucking Company, based in Richmond Hill, Queens.  It didn't take too long before he realized, that was not what he wanted to do.  About this time he met and later married the lady that was to become the mother of his  daughters. They settled in Queens while Rick took a job working at Aqueduct, Belmont and Saratoga Racetracks. That lasted just three years before joining the Long Island Railroad, where he stayed for twenty five years, retiring as a Train Director, (air traffic controller on rails, instead of clouds) and now enjoys a very lucrative pension. During his railroad years, he bought his first house in Babylon, Long Island and later in Sayville, Long Island and got involved in what he really wanted to do, which was stand-up comedy and singing in many of the local clubs, which later led to his film & TV career, where he appeared in twenty three feature films, eighteen commercials and many guest shots on TV series.. The marriage broke up after 24 years and he met and married a second wife. That lasted ten more years before screeching to a halt. Upon retiring from the railroad, he relocated to Burbank, California and now resides in Palm Springs, California. He's still singing and doing his comedy and spends most of his spare time playing either golf, backgammon or  building web sites. To see some of those web sites, click here.
